Taylor Swift ‘Broke’ Matty Healy’s Heart New Source Claim…

Denise Welch, the mother of Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Matty Healy, recently spoke out about her son’s past relationship with the pop star on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Her comments about Swift seemed unexpectedly harsh to many fans.

“Denise, your son is the great Matty Healy,” Cohen began, as the audience cheered.

“On that topic, Ms. Swift wrote a whole album on their relationship, The Tortured Poets Department. What was your reaction to that album?” he asked.

“Um, obviously, on pain of death, can I talk about that episode, but not being her mother-in-law is a role that I…I’m glad that I lost,” Welch began, as gasps could be heard in the audience.

“Not that I have anything against her at all,” she continued quickly. “It was just, you know, it was…it was tricky. She…listen, you’re not allowed to say anything, and then she writes a whole album, you know, about it. But Matty has taken it all in completely good grace,” she explained.

Now, on Saturday, July 26, a new inside source came forward and provided some context to US Weekly, explaining why Welch may not be particularly fond of Swift.

“It’s a horrible thing to have the most famous person in the world saying that your son broke her heart when it was the other way around, and then you can’t even defend yourself,” the source claimed.

“She’s saying the mother-in-law stuff because that’s where Matty thought it was headed. She’s entitled to her opinion,” the anonymous source continued.

Swift and Healy’s relationship was incredibly brief, lasting only a few months in the spring of 2023. He has since gotten engaged to model Gabbriette Betchel. Meanwhile, Swift has been in a long-term relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce.
