Brooke Hogan Reflects on Father Hulk Hogan, Clears Up Est…

Brooke Hogan has paid tribute to her father Hulk Hogan following his death.

On Tuesday, July 29, Brooke took to her Instagram page to honor Hulk, while addressing rumors that the two were estranged. The “About Us” hitmaker looked back fondly on their relationship, despite their occasional differences, and noted that she sees her father’s qualities reflected in her own children.

“My dad’s blood runs through my veins,” She wrote in her Notes app in a screenshot shared to Instagram. “I am so grateful I knew the real version of him … We shared a quiet, sacred bond, one that could be seen and felt by anyone who witnessed us together. When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him.”

She continued, recalling how Hulk was never afraid of death, but rather “spoke of death with “such wonder and hope” — “like meeting God was the greatest championship he’d ever have.”

Elsewhere in the post, Brooke commented on rumors of her and Hulk’s tumultuous relationship. She clarified that she harbored no ill will toward her father.

“We never had a ‘big fight,’” Brooke said. “My father and I never ‘fought.’ It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know or understand.”

Brooke noted that her father “didn’t want her at surgeries” Per Brooke, Hulk underwent more than 25 different surgical procedures, but had shut her out of the medical process.

“It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn’t get through,” she continued. “I felt a disconnect. What followed were respectful disagreements that took an emotional toll on me.”

Many fans began to suspect that Brooke had distanced herself from Hulk and the family back in 2023, when People reported that she didn’t attend her father’s wedding to his third wife, Sky Daily. This past March, Brooke’s mother and Hulk’s first wife Linda Hogan reportedly posted that Brooke “didn’t tell” her family when she got married to her husband Steven Olesky, or about the birth of her own twins this past January. According to Brooke, it was Olesky who helped mend her and Hulk’s relationship before he died.

“My husband stayed open, quietly reaching out to my dad without me knowing, trying to find a safe way back in for me,” she wrote. “I know in my heart I did everything I could. He knew I would run through a burning building for him.”

Brooke closed her message, thanking family, friends, and fans for their overwhelming support following Hulk’s death. “I’m deeply grateful for the love, tributes and memorials from his fans and friends,” Brooke said. “His life was one worth celebrating — and always will be.”

In a subsequent carousel, Brooke shared several of her favorite father-daughter moments with Hulk.
