‘WWE Did Not Extend Invite’ to Fat…

Brooke Hogan clapped back at those who shamed her for not attending the WWE’s tributes to the late Hulk Hogan.
Brooke responded to the critics on her Instagram Story on Wednesday. “For those of you giving me crap for not attending my Dad’s tributes, @wwe did not extend an invite.”
The WWE honored Hulk during Friday’s SmackDown with a 10 bell salute on July 25, a day after his death, and on Monday Night RAW. While Brooke wasn’t there, Hulk’s son, Nick Hogan, attended the Monday night event.
Brooke was estranged from her father for two years prior to his death on July 24 from a heart attack. The 37-year-old took to Instagram to share a statement, writing that it wasn’t a single “fight” that led to the fissure in their relationship, adding that she needed to “step away to protect my heart.”
“I know in my heart I did everything I could,” Brooke said. “He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this.”
Brooke also shared that her husband kept in contact with Hulk during their estrangement, as a way to try to “find a safe way back in” for her.
On Thursday, Hulk’s cause of death was revealed to be an acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. According to reports, the 71-year-old had a history of atrial fibrillation, a condition that causes an irregular heartbeat. He also reportedly had been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a form of cancer, which was previously unknown to the public.
On July 24, paramedics responded to his Clearwater, Florida home due to a reported cardiac arrest.
Hulk shares Brooke and Nick with his ex-wife, Linda Claridge, whom he married in 1983 and divorced in 2009. Hulk then married Jennifer McDaniel in 2010, later divorcing her in 2021. He married his third wife, Sky Daily, in 2023.
