Woman Arrested After Allegedly Trying to Bring Meth into …

A Kentucky woman had her plans to spend a day at “The Most Magical Place on Earth” abruptly canceled after she allegedly tried to bring meth into the theme park.
Citing police records, Walt Disney World News Today reports the woman, Brandi Asher, was stopped by park security as she allegedly attempted to enter Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom with the drugs.
The report states Asher claimed she had forgotten to remove the drugs from her belongings after a stranger gave her the meth at her hotel. The incident happened back in May, though the arrest report was recently made public.
WDWNT reports security officer, Frederick Ciadrdi, was checking Asher’s bags when he came across a metal tin, which he shook and then opened, allegedly finding the meth.
A report from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office reads Ciadrdi, “Opened the tin can and discovered small white items inside of the can, including a long white cylinder, which looked like a pen, and two small plastic baggies with something white inside of them.”
When the security officer asked Asher what the substance was, she reportedly stated it was medicine to treat her headaches, calling it “headache powder.”
The police report continues, “Brandi started shaking and telling Frederick that he could just throw the items away. However, Frederick could not do that. Brandi became increasingly nervous and started putting the items from the can into her pockets.”
When police were called to the scene, they investigated the powder and allegedly determined it was meth along with a tube that was used to snort the substance.
The report states when confronted about the situation by police, Asher became very honest about what had happened. She was then arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, and reportedly pleaded not guilty to the third-degree felony at a court hearing in June.
