Drake Taps Into Jet2holidays Viral Craze: Is He Teasing a…

Drake looks like he might be teasing a collaboration with the TikTok-adored travel brand Jet2 — or at least that’s what his fans think.
On Thursday (July 31), Drizzy took to Instagram to share a number of photos, including one of him standing in front of the Jet2holidays logo at a location that could be one of the company’s offices.
While it’s not exactly clear what the Iceman is planning, what we do know can be found below.
What is Jet2holidays?
For those unfamiliar, Jet2holidays, billed as “the UK’s largest tour operator,” is known for its budget-minded approach to vacation packages. Other Jet2 branches take a similar approach to various facets of travel, with its flight-focused component, for example, promising “friendly low fares.”
Thanks to a TikTok trend incorporating the brand’s advertising, known for its longtime use of Jess Glynne’s 2015 track “Hold My Hand” and the “Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday” catchphrase spoken by Zoe Lister, Jet2 has been a social media mainstay as of late.
What does this have to do with Drake?
For now, that’s not entirely clear. On Thursday, July 31, the Iceman-teasing OVO Sound co-founder shared a number of photos to Instagram, including one image of him standing in front of the Jet2holidays logo at a location that very much appears to be a Jet2-related office of some sort. In another photo, Drake is seen wearing a Jet2-branded reflective work vest. Nods to Wyclef Jean and the late Hank Williams are also included.
“From Jet2 to 2Jets ya musta mad,” Drake wrote.
Who else has tapped into the Jet2holidays trend?
Mariah Carey and Jeff Goldblum, among other familiar names, have both tried their hands at the trend.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the White House, unfortunately (and disgustingly) also tried to get in on the action, only to immediately be condemned by Jess Glynne herself.
Has Jet2 responded to Drake’s shoutout?
Not yet. But Complex has reached out to Jet2 reps for comment. This story may be updated. In the meantime, darling hold my hand…
