Cardi B Kicks Off SummerSlam 2025 as Host, Previews New M…

Cardi B brought the fire and fashion to WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night 1, lighting up MetLife Stadium as the official host of the annual event.
To kick off the show, the Grammy-winning rapper made sure all eyes were on her with a show-stopping look. Cardi rocked a black feathered ensemble that turned the ramp into a fashion runway while also teasing a new track during the entrance, believed to be a preview from her long-awaited album Am I The Drama?
When she got to the ramp, Cardi let out all her excitement by grabbing a microphone and amping up the crowd.
“I’ll be real with y’all I’m excited! Who’s ready to whoop some ass,” Cardi said before letting out a few screams. “People are going to be talking about this forever. Welcome to SummerSlam!”
Behind-the-scenes clips showed Cardi receiving a warm pep talk from WWE executive Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who gave her a few words of encouragement before the cameras rolled. The two shared a hug, and moments later, Cardi hit the stage with full force.
Cardi wasn’t the only celebrity who stole the show on Saturday night as Logan Paul and Jelly Roll performed one of the wildest bumps of the whole event. During the tag team match between Jelly Roll and Randy Orton versus Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul, Paul did a body splash onto Jelly Roll on one of the announce tables.
The bump seemed to put Jelly Roll out of the match as several WWE officials escorted him to the back, but the country music star eventually returned to help Orton. However, Jelly Roll’s save wasn’t enough as he took a Claymore Kick from McIntyre and a Frog Splash from Paul before getting pinned.
