Air Jordan 5 Luminous Green IM7592-130 Release Date

Every so often, all the information but an Air Jordan leaks beside imagery. The existence of the Air Jordan 5 Luminous Green has been known for quite some time, but it still hadn’t been seen even with its release just weeks away. That finally changes with a leak of on-foot pictures from @eldenmonitors.

The Air Jordan 5 Luminous Green applies accents in dark and light shades of green on a shoe with an entirely off-white leather upper with a tint of yellow. The namesake hue can be seen on the tongue’s Jumpman, laces and the midsole’s fighter jet-inspired teeth. A forest green is then used for the rest of the midsole, while the translucent outsole uses the same darker green as well as colorless regions near the forefoot and heel. “23” embroidery appears in white on the lateral heel, and the translucent lace toggle brings more of the darker green.

The biggest change to be found, however, is through perforated leather appearing where the mesh window usually sits at midfoot.

2025 marks the 35th anniversary for the Air Jordan 5, and although the occasion hasn’t been acknowledged as overtly as the Air Jordan 1’s 40th, there has still been an assortment of releases for the model this year. A Ma Maniére dropped a collaboration in late July, and the original Grape edition came back the month prior for the first time in a dozen years. A metallic silver Wings edition celebrated the Jordan Brand charitable organization of the same name this summer, and later this year will bring the pink-accented 35th Anniversary variant, as well as the once-rare yellow Tokyo pair.

This month will also bring a pair of Awake NY collaborations in both pink and Racer Blue.

The Air Jordan 5 Luminous Green will release Aug. 30 through the Snkrs app and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $205.
