Ice Cube ‘Can’t Wait’ Until Los Angeles ICE Raids Are Ove…

Ice Cube is opening up about how Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s raids in Los Angeles are affecting him as a native to the city.
“It hurts because it’s all kind of different situations been going around, as far as immigration,” Cube explained on 92.3’s The Cruz Show at around the 12-minute, 25-second mark of the video below.
“But to see people disrespected like that, and federal government just being too heavy-handed and disrespectful going to churches and weddings and grabbing people out those schools,” he continued. “It’s like come on man, y’all just overdoing it.”
“And then the country flip flops. First it’s cool, then it’s not … It’s like, how could somebody even keep up with what’s going on? It’s sad. I can’t wait til this period is over. I don’t know how we going to get to the end but … It’s crazy to see people dragged out of their spots of refuge.”
In June, protests erupted across Los Angeles and other cities as ICE targeted immigrants in workplaces, residential areas, public spaces, and traffic stops, leading to many deportations over alleged immigration violations.
The protests prompted President Donald Trump to deploy National Guard troops to Los Angeles without Gov. Gavin Newsom’s cooperation.
