Jaylen Brown Says He’d Beat IShowSpeed in a Race: ‘I’m Ro…

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has made a bold declaration, stating he would easily outpace IShowSpeed in a race.

During a recent streaming session with PlaqueBoyMax, Brown spoke about athletic streamers and mentioned how Speed displays his athleticism whenever he goes live. Max agreed and claimed Speed was the “most athletic” streamer, but Brown quickly interjected with a confident challenge.

“Speed’s not beating me in a race, I don’t care what nobody says,” Brown told Max, who claimed he would be able to beat the NBA Finals MVP in a race. However, Brown wasn’t having any of it.

“Chat, I’m rolling Speed, I’m rolling him up,” said Brown. Plaque then explained how the only way Brown would win is because of his “long limbs.”

While no official race has been set, Brown’s statement has certainly generated buzz given how Speed has already beaten Ashton Hall and barely lost to Olympic champion Noah Lyles.

Elsewhere in the livestream with Max, Brown also revealed that former San Antonio Spurs player Marco Belinelli was the hardest player he ever had to guard in the NBA. According to Brown, Belinelli made him work.

“He used to light me up bro,” said Brown. “He used to just never stop moving and I used to have to chase him around with the system we had. I used chase Marco Belinelli around all these different screens and like he not even getting the ball and he still like moving back and forth so you never know when he about to take off full speed and start running and catch the ball […] just fatigue bro.”

Brown also spoke about his rap and NBA Mount Rushmore and showed off his own athleticism in a boxing ring and in a pool where Max could barely keep up with him. Check out some of the clips below.
