Will.I.Am Thinks Black Thought Is A Trillion Times Better…

Will.I.Am thinks that Black Thought is “a trillion” times better than Jay-Z.
The rap veteran voiced his thoughts about the two artists on an episode of Sway’s Universe. Around the one-hour and three-minute mark, Will.I.Am explained why he thinks the lead rapper of The Roots is better than Hov.
“Seeing Black Thought, what he’s capable of just off the top,” explained Will.I.Am. “Don’t get me wrong, but Jay has already said everything. He’s just regurgitating what he already said.”
“Everything that Black Thought comes up with, it’s like, ‘Wow, I never heard that one,’” he continued. “A lot of people would say, ‘What the fuck do you know about hip-hop, Will.I.Am?’ I don’t give a fuck what you think.”
Will, who does indeed know about hip-hop, having been discovered as a teenager by Eazy-E, then revealed his top five rappers of all time: KRS-One, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Nas, and Thought.
Will admits that Jay-Z and Black Thought battling it out for supremacy is unlikely. But he revealed that he thinks someone will soon use AI in an attempt to figure it out.
“I like to see them n****s battle,” he said. “And if they don’t wanna battle in person, someone is going to get an AI simulator that takes all their body of work and all their concerts and flows and you’ll see exactly who’s doper.”
Will’s comments sparked a response from Jadakiss, who addressed the topic on his Joe and Jada podcast with Fat Joe. J-A-D-A said that Will should have kept his comments to himself.
He said that takes like Will’s amount to “making everybody go against each other for no reason, just for small talk and clicks and [to] get the most traffic to your thing.”
“Leave our fucking culture alone,” Jada continued. “That’s my opinion. Because you’re starting off some shit and then he’s going to be in the state-of-the-art hills somewhere making cars… We need no more nuclear bombs set off in hip-hop unless it’s called for. This guy’s a rich tech…he makes cars.”
“He should have kept his thoughts to himself,” Jada said.
