Influencer Nearly ‘Decapitated’ After Scarf Gets Caught U…

An Australian fashion influencer is lucky to be alive after a freak accident in which her neck scarf got caught under a moving vehicle.

Eli Moulton posted the warning to her 10,000 followers after attending an event over the weekend. Moulton was on hand for the opening of Glenelg BMW in South Australia, posting pics of herself in a long dress complete with a black scarf around her neck.

However, Moulton faced a terrifying ordeal after leaving the event. Posting a video to her followers she said “The dress that had me in a chokehold.”

She then revealed deep bruising and scratches around her entire neck, writing, “A reminder for the ladies: REMOVE your neck scarves before entering or opperating any heavy machinery ! Nearly decapitated myself getting the scarf tangled underneath the car on the way home.”

Comments on the post were mostly supportive, with one follower writing, “She’s a fighter. No scarf will break her. But also .. I cried when you told me. Glad we still have each other xx.”

Another chimed in, “Holy crap Eli!! Only just seen this! You poor thing – also a good reminder for us all! See you soon.”

Clearly able to laugh at the near-disaster, Moulton replied to one follower with, “Just happy it didn’t happen on the way there, that really would have ruined a great night.”

Apparently it hasn’t all been well-wishes for the influencer as her story began to pick up some attraction from media outlets. A follow-up post from Moulton reads, “I completely understand it’s apart of being open on social media – but just a reminder to please be kind when commenting about people you don’t know on these outlets.”

Lucky for Moulton it appears she will make a full recovery and hopefully save others from facing the same scary incident in the future.
