J.D. Vance Heckled With ‘Couch F*cker’ Chants During D.C….
Vice President J.D. Vance faced a hostile reception in Washington, D.C., as hecklers bombarded him with vulgar “couch-fucker” chants while he attempted a photo-op at Union Station.
On Wednesday, Vance joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller alongside federal forces and photographers to deliver Shake Shack burgers to National Guard troops stationed in the nation’s capital. As the trio walked through the station, a crowd erupted and hurled insults at them, specifically Vance.
“Oh look, it’s couch-fucker,” one person shouted in a video shared on social media. Another added, “You gonna fuck a couch, buddy?” As the heckling escalated, chants of “Go fuck a couch, JD Vance!” and “pussy boy” filled the busy train station.
The insults stem from a fake excerpt from Vance’s book “Hillbilly Elegy” that claimed he once had sexual relations with a couch when he was younger. Vance and his colleagues attempted to speak to the press over the jeers with Miller dismissing the protesters as “elderly white hippies.” At the same time, Vance struggled to respond to a question about public opposition to the Guard’s deployment.
“I’m highly skeptical that a majority of D.C. residents don’t want their city to have better public safety and more reasonable safety standards,” Vance said, deflecting the poll in question. “Maybe the same poll that said Kamala Harris would win the popular vote by 10 points.”
The tension was clear as chants of “Free D.C.” echoed throughout Union Station while Vance shook hands with guardsmen. Another clip, shared by HuffPost’s Igor Bobic, captured the group’s departure amid thunderous boos.
“Boo! Get out of here,” one onlooker shouted as the high ceilings amplified the sound of disdain.
This latest situation is showing the gap between Donald Trump’s administration and the residents in D.C., who have made it clear they do not want the National Guard or the president’s allies touching down in their city.
