Air Jordan 4 ‘Black Cat’ 2025 Release Date FQ8138-010

Joining the growing number of popular Air Jordan styles returning next year, we’re now learning that the “Black Cat” Jordan 4 could be coming back in 2025.
News of the purported retro was first reported by leakers Sneaker Files, @zSneakerheadz and @sneakermarketro on Instagram, revealing that the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 4 is scheduled to re-release in late 2025. There are no leaked images of the upcoming retro at the time of writing and they likely won’t hit the net for at least a few months, but it’s expected to be a straightforward retro with an updated shape.
The “Black Cat” Air Jordan 4 was first released in May 2006 and was last retroed in January 2020. Earlier this year, Complex staff named the style the best “Black Cat” Air Jordan sneaker to date.
Currently, the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 4 retro has yet to be confirmed by Jordan Brand.
UPDATE (12/06/24): In the waning days of 2024, we’re now learning about Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan release plans for Holiday 2025. According to Sneaker Files and @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, the “Black Cat” Jordan 4 (style code: FQ8138-010) will return sometime during the latter months of 2025. UPDATE (06/16/25): Thanks to @solespeed4image and @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, we now have an early look at this year’s “Black Cat” Air Jordan 4 retro. The cropped photos reveal the “Nike Air” branding on the heel, which is the first time this style will feature the beloved detail (pictured below). The sneaker is slated to release on Nov. 28 in full family sizing, but official release info has not yet been confirmed by Jordan Brand.
UPDATE (08/21): New images of the upcoming ‘Black Cat’ Air Jordan 4 with “Nike Air” branding have emerged, courtesy of GOAT. As of now, the sneaker is expected to drop on Nov. 28 for Black Friday, but the release has yet to be announced by the brand.
