Will Millie Bobby Brown Let Her Kids B…
Will Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown allow her children with Jake Bongiovi to become child actors?
In an interview with Pedestrian TV in March 2025, the former child star shared her thoughts on whether or not to allow her children to follow in her acting footsteps. This interview was completed months before Brown announced she and Bongiovi had adopted their first child, a baby girl, on August 21.
She admitted, she would “protect them in the way that my parents protected me,” adding she would “encourage” them to be themselves.
“I would support them but protect them in the way that my parents protected me. So yeah, I always encourage any young person to achieve their dreams, and if I can help in any way, I absolutely will.”
Brown said in a separate interview on the podcast Smartless that she and Bongiovi are planning to have a big family. They each have three siblings.
“I really wanted a family. I really want a big family,” Brown said of motherhood. “I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different than adopting.”
She said that being a young mom was appealing, as her mother was 21 when she first gave birth and her father was 19. Brown explained, “It’s been my thing since before I met Jake. Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”
Brown returns to the small screen for the final installment of Netflix’s Stranger Things. The series’ finale will release in three parts: Volume 1 on November 26, 2025, Volume 2 on Christmas Day (December 25, 2025), and the finale, Volume 3 on New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2025).
