OnlyFans Gross Revenue Hit $7.2 Billion In 2024

OnlyFans has been doing big business for quite some time, and it reportedly made over $7 billion last year.

On Friday (August 22), the company (via Variety) released an annual report for 2024 that revealed its gross revenue was $7.22 billion, an increase of nine percent from the previous year.

This is the total amount fans paid creators before OnlyFans took its cut. Its net revenue, after payouts to creators, was clocked in at $1.41 billion, which is up eight percent from 2023. Its pre-tax profit, or what OnlyFans actually keeps as profit after expenses, but before paying taxes, was $684 million, up four percent from the previous year.

In layman’s terms, fans reportedly spent $7.22 billion on OnlyFans content. Creators got a good chunk of it at 80 percent, while OnlyFans kept about $1.41 billion. After costs, the platform still made a massive $684 million profit.

There were also more creators, up 13 percent from 2023, and even more fans, up 24 percent in 2024. All in all, the number of users and the money flowing through the platform are still rising year-over-year.

OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair explained the platform’s success in a statement to Variety: “In 2024 OnlyFans continued to grow its revenue and global user base. We expanded in new verticals, demonstrating the strength and potential of the platform across a wide range of genres. With a number of significant brand and individual partnerships, particularly in sport, OnlyFans continued to enhance its reputation as a foundational element of the wider creator economy.”

Blair added: “The success of OFTV has opened new avenues for growth and audience engagement. As we look to the future we will continue to invest in trust and safety tools which benefit our community and provide the best opportunities for creators to promote and monetize their content with a global fanbase.”

Despite the increase, its revenue and earnings grew at a slower pace last year in comparisons to previous years. In 2021, OnlyFans saw gross revenue shoot up 118 percent, driven by the COVID pandemic, followed by annual increases of 16 percent and 19 percent in 2022 and 2023, respectively.

Back in August, OnlyFans star Sophie Rain said she wants to make more money than LeBron James in 2026.

Rain appeared on the Bangin’ Out podcast alongside Aishah Sofey, Summer Iris, Alina Rose and Ava, where she was grilled about her earnings. Host Jacob Sartorius asked Rain about reports that she made $43 million last year, which she confirmed, adding: “But I’m taxed out my ass.”

In 2023, OnlyFans creator payments reportedly reached $6.63 billion.
