Ice-T has been happily married for over two decades — and it turns out he gets asked how to sustain a happy marriage often.
On Wednesday (August 27), the rapper and actor, who has been married to Coco Austin for over two decades, took to X to share that he’s been asked for marriage advice multiple times.
“Sometimes people ask me marriage advice… Cause I’ve been happily married for 25 years,” he wrote. “My answer? ‘I know how to be married to ‘MY’ wife… Not yours…’ Lol.”

Who is Ice-T’s wife?
Ice-T is married to Coco Austin (born Nicole Natalie Austin). When she married the rapper, she took his last name, Marrow. She was formerly a swimsuit and lingerie model, worked at the Playboy Mansion, and starred in several movies.
How long have Ice-T and Coco Austin been married?
The couple have been married for over 24 years, having celebrated their 24-year anniversary in January 2025.
“Happy Anniversary to the love of my life,” Coco wrote in a post celebrating their anniversary on New Years Day. “MY heart MY soul MY everything! I love you #24yearsanniversary #newyears2025.”
Ice-T, meanwhile, shared a post of his own. “Today is @Coco and my 24th Anniversary,” he wrote. “Yep… We keep it Sexy.”
How did Ice-T and Coco meet?
The couple met through a mutual friend on the set of a music video and were in a long-distance relationship for several months due to their hectic work schedules. They walked down the aisle in Las Vegas on January 1, 2001, and they renewed their vows in 2011 on their reality series, Ice Loves Coco.
What else have the couple said about maintaining a strong marriage?
Last year, Coco told E! News their relationship has remained as strong as it has because of their intimacy and the frequency they have sex.
“I would say good and healthy is three times a week. I think that’s good after 23 years,” she said. Ice-T added: “When you first get with somebody, you want to have sex, right? If that ever ends, it’s a wrap. When that feeling goes away, forget about it.”

Ice-T and Coco welcomed their first and only child together, Chanel Nicole, in 2015.
