Tyrese Gibson has shared another video of himself crying, saying he’s no longer stressed over legal fees because his situation “got turned around.”

In the nearly 30-minute video shared on X, Gibson explained his tears of joy.

“I woke up this morning with a heart full of gratitude,” he said.

Then, the singer revealed why he was so joyous.

“I have been having some intimate and beautiful exchanges and moments with God,” he said. “And I know it’s him. I know it’s him because it’s impossible that something I thought was on the brink of destruction got turned around.”

Gibson continued, attributing what he believes is a miracle to his religious beliefs.

“I’m not the reason I didn’t file for bankruptcy just last week,” he continued. “I’m not the reason that some way, somehow, all of these legal fees that have stressed me out, all of the legal fees that I owe my ex, somehow, just showed up. I’m good, but I’m not that good.”

Gibson seems to be referring to the $492,651.99 that he owed to his ex-wife, Samantha Gibson. In July, Samantha submitted a motion to a judge to hold the singer in contempt for allegedly refusing to pay the massive sum that’s owed to her legal teams.

The filing alleges that despite having the ability to pay, Gibson “has made no effort whatsoever” to pay the fees or interest. He’d previously been issued contempt rulings on May 4, 2023, Oct. 3, 2023, and Oct. 4, 2024, per the filing.

Last year, Gibson took to social media to speak about his divorce in a 55-minute rant.

“These are the stairs that I got married on before my ex-wife left me,” he said about the marriage that ended in 2020. “And this is the same house that I got the news while living in, that not only did she leave me but I got married on these stairs.

“She packed up all 50 boxes right here in the foyer with six or seven of her friends and she covered up the Ring camera with a COVID mask at the time. This was August 2020 and she left me and she never came back. Cry me a river, right?”

Speaking about his divorce on Club Shay Shay last year, Gibson said that he was “devastated and crushed.”
