Sabrina Carpenter and Nicki Minaj Appear to Tease Collabo…

Nicki Minaj and Sabrina Carpenter seem to be teasing a collaboration that they have in the vault.
On Aug. 29, Minaj posted “Don’t Worry I’ll Make You My Worry” from Carpenter’s new album Man’s Best Friend on her Instagram Story, seemingly just showing some love for an artist that has shared equal support for her in the past.
Vogue’s Entertainment Director, Sergio Kletnoy, reposted Minaj’s post, writing to them, “My girls… [Nicki Minaj and Sabrina Carpenter], collab?”
Carpenter’s response sent both fan bases tingling with anticipation. “Love affair” she wrote, alongside a few heart emojis. Minaj herself followed up with “Don’t worry, [Sergio],” along with a salute emoji.
Minaj and Carpenter’s collaboration makes a ton of sense considering how friendly and supportive they’ve been recently. Last August, Carpenter posted “This one’s for Nicki” on X, referencing Minaj’s 2018 battle with Travis Scott on the charts after the latter sold multiple versions of his LP to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Minaj caught wind of Carpenter’s shoutout and responded by giving her some love too. “Shout out Sabrina Carpenter, shout out all the Sabrina Carpenter fans,” said Minaj during an Instagram Live.
In an interview with Vogue Italia earlier this year, Minaj named Carpenter as one of her favorite newer artists. “A superstar is a superstar, and if you are one, you’ll find a way to shine — with or without social media,” said Minaj. “I didn’t know she’d been around that long when I started listening to her. A breath of fresh air.”In other Carpenter news, the singer revealed how her parents felt about the controversial cover of her Man’s Best Friend album. Speaking to Gayle King of CBS Mornings, the singer revealed that it “wasn’t even a conversation” among her family and friends, that they “loved” the photo when they saw it.
“Y’all need to get out more, I think,” said Carpenter. “I was actually shocked because between me, my friends, family, and the people I always share my music and art with first, it just wasn’t even a conversation. It was just like, it’s perfect for what the album is [and] what it represents.”
