Amy Luciani Reunites With Dwight Howard in Instagram Phot…
Amy Luciani unexpectedly shared photos with ex Dwight Howard despite their ongoing divorce.
On Monday (Sept. 1), the Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star posted photos with Howard to her Instagram Story.
In one image, Howard is seen sitting in a green armchair while Luciani stands behind him with her hand on his shoulder.
In another photo, the two are seen inside a car with Luciani leaning her chin against her palm with her head against Howard’s shoulder as they both look directly at the camera. A brown heart emoji was affixed above them, though Luciani added no captions and gave no indication of when the photos were taken.
Luciani filed for divorce from Howard in July, calling their marriage “irretrievably broken” with “no prospects for reconciliation” after just six months of marriage. Alongside her filing, Luciani requested alimony and asked that assets and property be ‘equitably divided.”
After reports of their split surfaced, Luciani told The Shade Room she did not intend for news of the split to be made public so soon.
“Still wrapping my head around a lot,” she said. “Although I know it won’t happen, I hope the public can give us grace and privacy right now.”
Howard, who has five children from previous relationships, had previously told the Breakfast Club in June that he wanted to keep their marriage “private.”
The divorce news ignited rumours that Luciani was seeking half of Howard’s assets, but only July 9 she used her Instagram Stories to push back against those claims.
“With such a private moment like a marriage ending. I really do want to keep a lot private but it’s hard to watch this narrative spreading quickly about me,” she wrote at the time, clarifying that she had “never asked Howard for a single dollar.”
“I told him I want to sign a prenupt (sic) because I believe what you worked for is yours and I’m not the type of woman to take what’s not mine,” she added. “I mentioned a prenupt first!! He declined.”
Luciana also stressed that she had married for love, not money, writing that the “rumors do not align with my character.” “Believe it or not, some of us women really date/marry for love,” she concluded.
