Bill Belichick Draws Heat for Talking with 24-Year-Old GF…

Bill Belichick is facing heavy criticism after UNC’s blowout season opener—but it’s his sideline behavior, especially his interactions with his much younger girlfriend, that’s drawing just as much attention as his coaching.

The TCU Horned Frogs took down the UNC Tar Heels 48-14 Monday, September 1 at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

A video on social media started to get a lot of attention showing Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, approach the 73-year-old coach on the sideline and briefly chat with him before walking away just before kickoff.

Many fans criticized Belichick as they said he’d never allow a partner on the field before other big matchups. The viral video noted, “We have never seen something like this.”

One user commented on the video saying Belichick didn’t seem too happy that Hudson approached him, keeping the conversation short. A user added, “The way he walks away…she has no business being down there. Trying so hard to be relevant when she not. She’s embarrassing”

Another wrote, “What has happened to Belichick. His entire legacy is going to end up turning into a meme.”

Some even speculated Belichick’s time at UNC will be short-lived after the massive opening game loss and the distractions of Hudson. One wrote, “sad is sad. to bad the boosters didn’t see this one coming sooner. going to be laughing stocks if this isn’t turned around immediately. what am I saying, people are already laughing their a**** off.”

After the game Belichick talked to reporters about the experience, saying, “Was a great, you know, great atmosphere here for the game tonight. … We played competitively, but then just couldn’t sustain it. So obviously, we have a lot of work to do. … We need to do a better job all the way around—coaching, playing, all three phases of the game, just wasn’t up to what it needs to be.

He was not asked about the interaction with Hudson.
