Matt Riddle Insults CM Punk’s Wife AJ Lee: ‘She Did Get A…

Matt Riddle is doubling down on his attacks on CM Punk, even taking shots at the WWE star’s wife, AJ Lee.

Riddle recently appeared on TMZ’s Inside the Ring podcast where he was asked about Punk, saying, “CM Punk is a b****, he can’t beat me in a fight. If he wants to step up, he can meet me in a bare knuckle boxing fight, he can meet me in a MMA cage, whatever dude, it doesn’t matter.”

When Riddle was asked about Lee, he fired off the attack, saying, “AJ, I have no problems with her. She never stepped into, I mean, to be fair and I’m not one to talk I’m a little ‘slooty’ myself— but she did get around, from what I heard. But, no disrespect to that. It’s whatever, people like to hook up, and if that’s the worst thing you did, whatever, I’ve done it too.”

Riddle didn’t get specific about his claims before turning attention back on Punk, adding, “I have no ill will towards CM Punk, I bet he’s a nice enough guy if you agree with him. But I don’t, and I think he’s fake and I think he’s a creep.”

Riddle went on to say he had issues with Punk lingering around the NXT locker room a little too much.

Riddle was released from the WWE back in September 2023. He admitted to failing multiple wellness tests with the company due to cocaine use. He was also reportedly sent to rehab on multiple occasions and received suspensions from the WWE.

Riddle, a former MMA fighter, still wrestles professional—with recent appearances in Major League Wrestling, New Japan-Pro Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Westling.

Neither Punk nor Lee has commented publicly on Riddle’s latest personal attacks, though fans have certainly weighed in.

One wrote, “Dude is all over the place lol but hope he’s okay.” Another chimed in by saying Riddle, “looks like a clown.”
