Keke Wyatt’s Son Claims She Told Him His Cancer Was ‘Karm…
Keke Wyatt is facing backlash after her son, Rahjah Ke’ Morton, used social media to accuse the R&B singer of turning his cancer battle into a public spectacle while privately dismissing it as punishment for his sexuality.
According to Vibe, Rahjah, now 23, shared a video on Instagram on Friday, September 5, using the popular “put a finger down” challenge. Instead of lighthearted prompts, he detailed his own experience.
“Put a finger down if you were diagnosed with cancer as a teenager and your parent decided to publicly announce your diagnosis for personal gain and attention,” he said.
He went on to claim his mother told him his illness was “karma” for being a gay man, adding that she suggested she would have “kept her money” had she known how he would “turn out.”
The clip ended with his thumb folded and four fingers raised, underscoring the seriousness of his claims.
The response online was immediate. One person wrote on X, “This is DISGRACEFUL!!!!!!! I’m GAGGGEEDDD!!! Not Keke not liking the gays Chile! I’m sorry her son had to go thru that.” Another user reacted with disbelief, posting, “I’m gagging I didn’t know this was your mother.”
Wyatt has not publicly responded.
Back in 2017, Wyatt made headlines after revealing Rahjah’s leukemia diagnosis in an emotional Instagram video. At the time, she shaved her head in solidarity, with family members following her lead. “My child has been fighting cancer and lost all of their hair that they loved. It hurts me so bad,” she told fans.
A year later, she announced his recovery in a celebratory YouTube video, sharing that her son was officially cancer-free. Reflecting on his treatment, Rahjah recalled, “Because I was dying! I was literally dying, and we didn’t know.”
Wyatt has 11 children. Her son Rahjah Ke’ is one of four children from her first marriage to Rahmat Morton.
