“Reimagine” by Laura Gauch | Vogue

Styled by India Reed with pieces by Paloma Wool, Reformation, and vintage selections, the clothing reshapes the codes of studio dress. Legwarmers and tights are still present but are layered and reinterpreted; textures clash and converse.
Shot entirely on film and hand-printed, the images carry the imperfections of process. Each frame holds onto its texture, embracing chance and materiality as part of the narrative.
The shoot itself unfolded collaboratively on a summer day in New York. Between takes, music filled the room — Solange, SZA, Baby Rose and others — setting a rhythm that shaped both the silences and the movements. The process was as important as the images themselves, built around trust, improvisation, and presence. In this way, Reimagine is both an editorial and a reflection: a reconsideration of what a studio can hold, and how the body might find freedom in a space once built for expectation.”
