Dismembered Body Found in Trunk of D4vd’s Tesla ID’d as T…

The body of the person found dismembered in the front trunk of a car registered to singer D4vd has reportedly been identified as being a girl between the ages of 14 and 15, according to law enforcement sources that spoke with ABC News. NBC 4 also reported that the victim was between 14 and 15 after speaking to law enforcement, citing the results from forensics.
As reported by TMZ and later confirmed to Complex, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the body but declined to release their name until a next of kin was notified.
According to ABC News, a next of kin has yet to be located and the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office has not determined a cause of death. Per Rolling Stone, the body was first discovered on September 8 in the trunk of a 2023 Tesla Model Y that was registered to D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke. The car was impounded in a tow yard in the Hollywood Hills and raised suspicion due to a foul odor that emanated from the vehicle.
“She appears to have been deceased inside the vehicle for an extended period of time before being found. We are unable to determine her age or race/ethnicity,” the medical examiner said in a previous statement.
Burke, who is 20, has yet to publicly comment on the situation. The artist’s rep has said that the singer is cooperating with the authorities. “D4vd has been informed about what’s happened. And, although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities,” a spokesperson for D4vd said, per NBC 4. The singer’s Withered World Tour is set to wrap in Los Angeles on Sept. 20 and is scheduled to continue in Europe starting on on Oct. 1.
Complex has reached out the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner for more information.
