D4vd Allegedly Recorded “Celeste” Song, Same Name as Teen…

D4vd allegedly had recorded a song that mentions someone named Celeste, according to TMZ. The track, a demo seemingly titled “Celeste,” surfaced online on Wednesday (Sept, 17), just hours after the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the body found in the singer’s car as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas. It’s unclear and not confirmed that there is any connection.

“Celeste” features lyrics like “Be my valentine/I wanna make you be suicidal/ These are the kind of thoughts that cross my mind, just because.”

Other lyrics in the surfaced track include, “Oh, Celeste/The girl with my name tattooed on her chest/Smell her on my clothes like cigarettes/Hear her voice each time I take a breath/I’m obsessed.”

The source of the nearly four-minute track is unclear, but online sleuths suggest the song may have been making the rounds on Discord servers before ultimately being shared on other social media platforms.

D4vd was set to perform a concert on Wednesday night at the Showbox SoDo in Seattle as part of his Withered World Tour. The show was canceled hours after L.A. authorities identified Rivas’ body.

Los Angeles police are conducting a homicide investigation after Rivas’ decomposed, dismembered body was discovered earlier this month in the front truck of the singer’s Tesla. The car had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills and later towed to an impound lot.

Rivas’ mother told TMZ she had a boyfriend named David and had been missing for over a year.

“She appears to have been deceased inside the vehicle for an extended period of time before being found,” said the medical examiner in a statement before the deceased was identified.

D4vd has not been in Los Angeles for more than a month, and it is unclear who last drove the car. Authorities have not named any suspects.

TMZ previously noted that both Celeste and D4vd have the same “Shhh…” tattoo on their right index finger.

The North American leg of D4vd’s concert tour is scheduled to end on Sept. 20 in Los Angeles before beginning performances in Europe on Oct. 1. It’s not immediately clear if the tour will continue as originally planned.
