Lexus Launches Glam LX Beauty Bar and SUV All-in-One

Lexus just revealed one of its boldest concepts yet, turning its flagship LX SUV into a mobile beauty bar.
According to The Robb Report, the Glam LX isn’t about what’s under the hood—it’s about what happens inside and outside when luxury, fashion, and utility collide.
The Lexus LX has always been known for its dual identity. On one hand, it carries the rugged dependability of its Toyota Land Cruiser 300 roots. On the other hand, it has the refinement and elegance that comes with the Lexus name.
Buyers turn to it when they want an SUV that can climb a mountain but also pull up to a gala. That balance is what makes the Glam LX such a surprise: it turns a proven off-roader into a rolling glam studio.
Built with the customization specialists at Complete Customs, the SUV wears a pearl symphony chameleon wrap that shifts colors as the light hits, complemented by crystal-faceted Lexus badging that looks more like jewelry than automotive trim.
Step inside, and the concept leans all the way into fashion-world aesthetics. Pink and white stitched leather lines the interior, accented with mohair, silk, and stone inlays. The result is a cabin that feels less like a car and more like a curated dressing room on wheels.
The real magic, though, comes from its features. The rear cargo area opens with French doors that reveal a full dressing suite: twin Robern illuminated mirrors, retractable privacy screens, LED-lit clothing racks, acrylic drawers, and pull-out chairs. It’s designed for full wardrobe changes on the go.
Up front, the passenger seat doubles as a manicure station complete with UV and LED lighting for polish touch-ups. The second-row seating converts into a beauty studio with tray tables, a halo-lit skylight, and a drop-down illuminated mirror stretching the full width of the cabin.
Even storage has been rethought, with compartments for hot tools, cosmetics, and a refrigerated console for skincare essentials. There’s even an LED-lit handbag compartment for the final touch.
Mechanically, the SUV retains its standard performance—a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 making 409 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic. That makes it as capable off-road as it is in a parking lot before an event.
While Lexus doesn’t plan to put the Glam LX into mass production, the company will showcase it at events across the U.S. this fall.
