D4vd Casket Videos Receive Renewed Attention Amid Investi…

The general public is in sleuth mode as the investigation into human remains found in a towed Tesla registered to D4vd continues.
Recently surfaced footage, most of which appears to date back to July and August, seemingly shows the use of a prop casket in connection with D4vd’s shows.
Given the circumstances of the towed Tesla case, which as of this writing didn’t have a suspect, some online users zeroed in on the clips while also pointing to selections from the Withered artist’s catalog.
We break it all down below.
D4vd casket videos receive renewed attention on social media
“Casket, wreath, notepad & pencils to write a letter to the ‘deceased,’” reads the text of a short video shared by TikTok user @vmalinaxb on Wednesday (Sept. 17).
The video, which made the rounds via aggregation accounts, is dated July 30. That day, D4vd had a show at The Warfield in San Francisco.
A separate video receiving renewed attention, also dated July 30, shows the person who uploaded the clip wondering whether D4vd himself had “pulled up in a casket.” Another video showed what was described as a “memorial” at the artist’s San Francisco show.

Details poured in after a rep for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Complex that officers responded to a report of a “foul odor” coming from the Tesla, which is registered to D4vd, at a tow lot.
While the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner hadn’t issued a determination on the cause of death at the time of writing, the decomposed body found in the vehicle was identified as that of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas.
D4vd has been said to be “fully cooperating” with the investigation. He’s been out on the road in support of Withered in recent months, though wasn’t clear on Wednesday whether the tour will progress following reports of a canceled stop in Seattle.
