Chris Tucker Celebrates 54th Birthday In France With Bria…

Chris Tucker took a trip to France to celebrate his 54th birthday.

The actor and comedian, who turned the big 5-4 on August 31, posted an Instagram carousel of his time overseas on Tuesday (September 16) and detailed that he visited Nice, Cannes, Monaco and Southern France.

In his Instagram Stories, the Rush Hour star playfully questioned why he doesn’t live in Europe and shared a video from his birthday party, which was attended by Brian McKnight and his wife, Leilani McKnight. Later during the night, Tucker honored his late friend, Michael Jackson, by dancing to a cover of his 1979 hit “Rock With You.”

Last month, Tucker celebrated what would have been Jackson’s 67th birthday by visiting the singer’s hometown of Gary, Indiana, for the 2300 Jackson Street Block Party. There, Tucker danced to Jackson’s 2001 classic “Rock My World,” nearly 25 years after he made a cameo in the music video. Also during the event, Tucker took pictures with Jackson’s brothers and fellow Jackson 5 members, Marlon and Jackie, and visited the band’s mural in downtown Gary.

Tucker, who last starred in 2023 sports biopic Air, has gotten a push by his former costars to return to the Rush Hour and Friday franchises. Earlier this year, RH actor Jackie Chan joked to ScreenRant that he and Tucker will be “100 years old” by the time the fourth installment releases, due to how long the script is taking to finish.
