The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 “Black/Varsity Maize” brings back one of the best late-2000s colorways with a high-contrast sneaker that’s sure to get looks.
Featuring a black base, the shoe is accented by Varsity Maize underlays in the form of mesh panels across the sides and collar. A similar color is also used for the tongue, Swooshes, and Air Max branding.
Additionally, there are reflective overlays for more visibility and a callback to the runner’s heritage. Finally, a full-length Max Air unit provides underfoot cushioning that this classic silhouette became known for.
The TL 2.5 made a splash with its futuristic aesthetic when it first launched. The new retro revival keeps that in mind, while dialing the colorway back to an evergreen black and yellow look.
