Inside British Vogue And Audemars Piguet’s London Fashion Week Party, Celebrating October Cover Star Raye

London Fashion Week is always cause for celebration at British Vogue, but this edition is a particularly special one. Why? Because it coincides with the launch of the sparkling October issue, featuring rising superstar Raye on the cover.

To toast the occasion, British Vogue teamed up with Audemars Piguet to throw an intimate soirée at London’s most-talked-about new opening: Carbone, the New York institution housed within the Chancery Rosewood—itself the most exciting arrival on the city’s (very robust!) luxury hotel scene in quite some time.

Among those who turned up to the converted former US Embassy on Mayfair’s Grosvenor Square were Central Cee, Isla Fisher, Alva Claire, Iris Law, and Amelia Gray.

Throughout the evening, guests were treated to a musical program curated by the cover star herself. Warming with a DJ set by Fatima, the night’s crescendo came with a soul-stirring performance by Raye’s very own sisters, Absolutely and Amma.

Carrying on the family affair vibes, British Vogue’s contributing editor Zezi Ifore took to the decks as guests danced the night away, clinking Grey Goose Vesper Martinis and Patron Silver Palomas, and tucking into Carbone’s signature Spicy Rigatoni Vodka.

Here’s an exclusive look at what went down when British Vogue, Audemars Piguet, and Raye joined forces to throw London Fashion Week’s chicest event.
