Ciara Reveals What She Told Her 3 Children Before Their N…

Ciara made New York Fashion Week a family moment to remember when three of her children hit the runway at Macy’s Herald Square on September 18.

Future Zahir, 11, Sienna, 8, and Win, 5, walked in the Macy’s x Rookie Kids “Runway on Broadway” show, turning heads as they joined other young models in pieces from Nike, Levi’s, Lacoste, Abercrombie Kids, Converse, and their parents’ label, 3Brand.

But before the bright lights came on, Ciara admitted there were some jitters—especially from her youngest.

“I kind of bargain a little bit with Win,” she told PEOPLE. “I was like, ‘Win, you go out there and shut it down, just tell me what you want after and it’s yours.’ He’s like, ‘Got it.’ And then he was ready.”

Sienna, meanwhile, handled the pressure with ease. “I did not see any nerves coming through, but maybe she just could be,” Ciara said. “But they’re ready. I think it’s going to be fun.”

Watching from the front row, the singer and entrepreneur couldn’t help but slip into “stage mom” mode. “I’m a little bit of a stage mom, I can’t help it,” she admitted. “But when your babies are out there, you want them to shine in their full brightness. Because I see what they do at home, I’m like, ‘Do it on the stage too. Okay?’”

Ciara and Russell Wilson’s 3Brand line was a highlight of the event, with their kids showing off the latest back-to-school and fall looks alongside their peers.

For Ciara, blending her career with motherhood isn’t new, but seeing her children step confidently onto one of fashion’s biggest stages was a new level of pride, especially on the New York Fashion Week stage.

The Wilson family’s youngest, 21-month-old Amora, didn’t join her siblings on the catwalk but was there to support.
