In place of the Manolo Blahnik shoes Dunst wore in the original film, Garner will hit the runway in a pair of the legendary footwear designer’s recent Marie Antoinette capsule collection, pink pointy-toe mules with baby blue laces and black contrast piping, which Lila Moss wore in the November 2025 issue of Vogue.
The ultra-stylish film earned Canonero an Oscar—one of her four. (Barry Lyndon, Chariots of Fire, and The Grand Budapest Hotel netted her other Academy Awards.) Now, it served as the inspiration for Louis Vuitton’s Nicolas Ghesquière, who channeled Canonero’s mastery of period costumes to create a drop-waist corset and structural, yet flowing skirt. Both looks will hit the runway tonight at Paramount Studios.
