The New Balance 1500 “Raven” is dropping into the Holiday 2025 lineup with a cool-weather color scheme that feels right at home in the season.
The premium factor from New Balance is back in full force, enveloping the runner in Raven suede up on the mudguard, quarter, and heel. The collar and tongue trade up to nubuck to add dimension without being ostentatious.
Neutral blue mesh in the toe box provides a much-needed color pop, while gold embroidered accents on the tongue and heel branding add a luxurious feel. Clay-reddish outsole is a bold detail, but not overpowering — just warm enough to offset the grey upper.
For a shoe this nostalgic, this pair is definitely in line with previous 1500 designs, but the colorways bring it more forward rather than leaning back.
