The Vaquera x Converse Chuck Taylor Slouch Wedge Collection is runway drama made for the sidewalk.

The capsule takes the classic Chuck All Star shape and gives it slouchy, overstated canvas uppers that stack and fold like monstrous trouser legs. The overall look is an evolution of Vaquera’s signature “fashion chaos” aesthetic: irreverent, daring and playfully off-kilter. It’s also the kind of detail that’ll have sneaker-obsessed fashion fiends geeking out on contact.

A tucked-in Chelsea-style wedge adds hidden height, while a drawstring top gives you control over how much the silhouette slouches and the custom Vaquera ankle branding seals the deal. Offered in XHi and towering XXXHi silhouettes in black and white, the palette is familiar and fairly wearable, even when the proportions are decidedly not. The whole package exudes early aughts DIY punk grit, but seen through a sleeker, modern filter.
