Melissa & Scholl Reinvent Two Classic Shoe Styles in New Collab

Brazilian footwear label Melissa and heritage footwear brand Scholl have joined forces again to put together a limited-edition capsule collection celebrating their signature styles in new silhouettes. The collection launches Wednesday in Brazil at melissa.com.br ahead of a global release in February.

The collaborative collection fuses elements of two signature styles, Melissa’s jelly sandal called the Possession, and Scholl’s Pescura, which dates back to 1956. Aligning comfort, style and innovation, the shoes make use of Melissa’s Melflex material and Scholl’s anatomical footbed technology, tapping into nostalgia while maintaining a forward-thinking sensibility.

The joint endeavor presents the Melissa/Scholl Possession Pescura Heel and the Melissa/Scholl Pescura Heel. One option brings together the Possession upper and the Pescura heel; another reimagines the Pescura by entirely using Melissa’s signature Melflex material. The color palette includes translucent hues of green, black, brown and the signature clear option.

A campaign for the collaboration was shot in Santa Teresa, an artistic neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro. Following the prelaunch of the Melissa Pescura Heel and the Melissa Possession Pescura in Brazil, the global release of the collection will bring two more material combinations to the collection.
