This adidas Adistar XLG 2.0 revives the brand’s early-2000’s performance runner language with a fresh take on the color and details.
The upper features breathable mesh with layered synthetic overlays, and the molded Three Stripes forming a structural cage along the sides. Reflective and Silver Metallic accents are placed across the heel, midsole shank, and toe overlays to contrast the mostly black build.
A chunky midsole features adiPRENE cushioning designed for stability and long-wear comfort. Underfoot, the adiWear outsole is detailed with a segmented traction layout inspired by distance-training shoes from the Adistar’s heritage. The silhouette lines up with the current wave of retro-tech runners re-emerging across lifestyle and performance channels.
