Kendall Jenner Is Bringing Back the Piecey Ponytail

Jenner wore a tousled, low ponytail with a center part and small front pieces pulled to one side for a breezy, asymmetrical look. While the face-framing details and height added volume and dimension, we suspect a good hair serum was applied to tidy flyaways, along with hair oil and light touch of texture spray and hairspray for hold.
While the super-long, slicked back power ponytail has been dominating the red carpets—see Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Britt Lower for reference—Kendall’s felt more laid-back, without relinquishing a sense of luxury. Really, it’s in the same style lexicon as Dakota Johnson’s tidy bangs and easy waves.
It was about this time last year that Kendall Jenner joined team bob, and returned to her natural brunette after a brief dalliance with a “Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy” shade of blonde. In the last 12 months, she’s oscillated between shoulder-brushing lengths, an A-lined shaped bob, and butt-skimming lengths at the 2025 Met Gala. Now, she’s found a glossy and healthy-looking happy medium, one that’s easily pinned up without too much weight but still looks full-bodied and luscious. Welcome back, piecey ponytail! Hair grips at the ready!
