The Air Jordan 1 Low “Obsidian” offers a very clean two-tone aesthetic.
Obsidian suede on the toe and heel areas adds a dark tone to the mix instantly. Sail leather through the midfoot and toe box breaks things up for easy contrast. A small red Wings logo on the heel adds the only true splash of brightness.
Textures carry most of the look, which provides a little more personality to the pair. Sail in the midsole leans into that classic Jordan feel without going overboard. The darker outsole brings the color palette back down and keeps things uniform.
Nothing about this sneaker comes across as particularly loud, which is the point. It’s that type of shoe that you just throw on without thinking of an outfit around it.
