Blue Ivy Throwback Video Gets Sweetest Reaction From Beyo…

A throwback video of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, has her grandmother, Tina Knowles, recalling a sweet family moment.

Tina shared an Instagram clip of Blue dancing at the baby shower of her siblings, Rumi and Sir Carter. The twins were born in 2017, so she was five in the social media clip.

“Just came across this on IG, so cute my Blue Blue breaking it down,” Knowles wrote. “This was at the twins ‘ baby shower, and Blue was only five. The steps were telling a story of the song. So Cute!!!”

One Instagram follower wrote, “You know how some kids just have it? That’s definitely Blue. When her Dad was holding her at that award show. And her Mom came out to flawless. As a baby, it told us everything we needed to know. That baby has been locked in.”

“We all knew it was only a matter of time.. And we still aint seen it all,” a second fan wrote.

A third penned, “This feels like just yesterday. Oh, how you’ve made us so proud, Blue Blue.” A fourth noted, “Now she’s on the big stage and we are loving us some Blue.”

In a 2024 interview with GQ Magazine, the entertainer said of her daughter, “Blue is an artist. She has great taste in music and fashion. She is a fantastic editor, painter, and actress. She has been creating characters since she was three.”

She added, “[Blue] is a natural, but I did not want her onstage. Blue wanted it for herself. She took it seriously, and she earned it. And most importantly, she had fun! We all watched her grow more and more every night before our eyes.”

Knowles is a grandmother to four grandchildren. These include Beyoncé’s children, Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir, 8, and daughter Solange Knowles’ son Julez Smith, 20.
