Cardi B Rejects Nick Cannon Comparisons: ‘My Kids Live in…

Cardi B adamantly dismissed comparisons to Nick Cannon while on X Spaces on Monday September 22.

“I don’t get in Nick Cannon’s business, but let me tell you something, all my kids live in the same house, and they are raised by a person, and that’s me,” she said, alluding to Cannon having 12 children with five different women.

In a 2022 appearance on Paramount+’s The Checkup with Dr. David Agus, the 44-year-old multi-hyphenate admitted he feels guilty that he’s incapable of spending enough time with his children.

“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” Cannon said, adding, “One ’cause I’m constantly working and two because I’m just spread thin.”

“You can’t compare me to Nick Cannon,” Cardi continued. “I don’t got 12 different baby daddies. I got three kids with one baby dad. And I’m gonna have a new baby with another man.”

The Am I the Drama? rapper announced last week that she’s expecting her fourth child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs. Cardi has three children with estranged husband Offset.

Prior to revealing her pregnancy, Cardi appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show where she was asked about having more children. “Yes,” she said, smiling.

“The more kids you have, the less of a possibility you go to, like, a [nursing] home,” Cardi joked. “One of them is gonna wipe my butt.”

Cardi hopped on Spaces Sunday, and responded to The Read‘s Crissle West offering her opinion about the rapper having a child before finalizing her divorce with Offset. Regardless of the family dynamic, Cardi maintained that she has always prioritized motherhood.

“Some people might have opinions on my work, right?” she said, adding, “But one thing nobody can fuck with me or tell me is about my motherhood. That title? I’ll beat bitches up for that title. One thing I know I am is a great mother.”
