Deiondria Sanders denies that she met Dreezy, who previously dated Jacquees, before she got into a relationship with the R&B singer.
Sanders and Jacquees had a rocky start to their relationship when Dreezy alleged last year that the “Your Peace” vocalist wanted to reconcile with her. At the time of Jacquees allegedly texting Dreezy, who he dated on and off from 2018 to 2023, the singer was expecting a child with Sanders. Dreezy blasted Jacquees’ purported text messages on social media, even calling Sanders a “bird brain.”
The saga continued when Dreezy was a guest on the Monday (August 18) episode of The Jay Hill Podcast, with the rapper claiming that Jacquees introduced Sanders to her as a friend before they began dating.
Around the 32-minute mark of the video below, Dreezy said that she didn’t consider her viral argument with Sanders to have been a “crash out situation.”
“That was a situation where I was in a relationship with a guy for six years and
a girl was introduced to me by this guy during a birthday trip and next thing I know she was pregnant,” Dreezy said.
“I don’t think that’s a crash out,” she continued. “I think that was a real I was I was reacting in real time to being lied to.”
Dreezy added that while she usually holds men “accountable” in messy love triangle situations, she needed to “defend” herself against Sanders.
Sanders, who’s the daughter of NFL icon Deion Sanders, commented on the clip via The Shade Room‘s Instagram account to deny that she’d ever met Dreezy.
“Never been introduced. Never shook hands. Didn’t even start dating him till she was locked up in jail and he told her what it is,” Sanders wrote. “I’m not speaking on this situation anymore but don’t play with my character. We know the truth. Yall be blessed.”
Just months after the birth of his son with Sanders last August, Jacquees appeared on The Breakfast Club, where he recalled contacting Dreezy after being informed that Sanders was pregnant.
“I thought that I owed her something to tell her because I had been with her for so long,” he said around the 54-minute mark of the video below. “I was like, okay, as a friend, as a respectful dude… I was with Dreezy for a long time. Let me tell her that I’m having a baby before she just found out through the world.”
