Donald Trump Says Diddy Has Already Asked Him for a Pardo…

President Donald Trump said that a recently-sentenced federal prisoner has asked him for a pardon: Sean “Diddy” Combs.

During remarks delivered to the media on Monday (October 6), Trump fielded a question about whether he would pardon Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted accomplice of Jeffrey Epstein.

“I’d have to take a look at it,” he responded.

That led Trump to ruminate on pardon requests more broadly.

“I have had a lot of people ask me for pardons,” he said. “I call him Puff Daddy, he has asked me for a pardon.”

Last week, Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison for two counts of violating the Mann Act. The charges related “freak offs” — hours- or days-long sexual encounters involving the mogul’s girlfriends and male escorts that Combs paid for, directed, and often recorded.
