Florida Sheriff Flaunts $50,000 ‘Drip’ Seized From Allege…

A Florida sheriff wore a suspect’s $50,000 chain and repeatedly referred to it as “drip” during a press conference about a drug case.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd hosted a press conference on Friday (Aug. 22) wearing a gold chain around his neck and a matching bracelet on his wrist, per Fox 13 Tampa Bay.

Judd’s press appearance came after the arrest of alleged drug kingpin Nathaniel Donald, who was charged in connection with the overdose death of a woman.

“I got their drip,” he told reporters at the conference announcing the results of Operation Capital City Crackdown, which led to the arrest of 32 people allegedly involved in the drug trade.

“I got their money,” Judd said. “We got their guns. We got their dope.”

He continued, “They ignore the criminal justice system, they ignore society, they don’t care if your children die, as long as they can wear their drip.”

The sherriff said the individuals arrested as part of the operation were dealing and producing marijuana, fentanyl, crack cocaine, MDMA, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and ketamine.

“Where you see $50,000 in drip, where you see that ‘not-so-dangerous’ drug of cannabis, you see guns and you see first-degree murder from overdose. I am over it,” he said. “They’re a menace to society. They’ve got to stay in prison, or people die. Whoever tells you that narcotics is low-level and non-violent—they’re crazy.”

The jewelry belonged to Donald, who has been accused of leading the drug trade operation. As part of the investigation, authorities seized $150,000 in drugs and several firearms. The people who were arrested had a total of 554 felonies and 394 misdemeanors.

Chief Stephen Walker of the Bartow Police Department thanked the Polk County Sheriff’s office for its help in “clean[ing] up the city.”

“We know we have problems and we do what we can and sometimes they’re outside of our scope to take care of so we rely on that assistance,” Walker said.
