Flower Mountain Debuts Fall 2025 Shoe Collection Inspired by Nature

Flower Mountain, which blends Japanese craftsmanship and outdoor style, has unveiled its fall 2025 collection, honing in on the footwear brand’s “organic-meets-urban” sensibility.

The collection presents lively new colorways and nature-inspired design components, including tartan and suede fabric, cork and more features. Utilitarian details and sculptural, comfort-oriented silhouettes are designed for both urban jaunts and adventures in the outdoors.

Two of Flower Mountain’s bestsellers, the Yamano 3 and Iwano styles, are reinterpreted in new colors and materials. New entries include the Kotetsu, a textured sneaker style, and the Wave style, featuring layered panels.

The Yomano 3 boasts a technical fabric upper showcasing suede details in a unique overlapping design. Trekking laces and floral-shaped eyelets help to define the style as well. The sole is crafted from lightweight rubber with a colored spoiler under the heel and toothed tread; the insole makes use of antibacterial natural cork to protect the foot and provide comfort throughout the day.

The Iwano, meanwhile, is a hiking shoe with a technical fabric and suede upper, a waterproof membrane and a Vibram sole. The Kotetsu, geared toward winter in the city, makes a statement with a shearling upper and contrasting suede inserts.

The Japanese brand also engages in collaborations. This includes teaming up with the menswear label Universal Works for a capsule released this spring, which found inspiration in Mount Fuji’s blooming dandelions. The capsule featured custom colorways of Flower Mountain’s Asuka Uni, Fami Uni and Yamano 3 Uni sneaker styles in addition to offering a jacket, shirts, shorts and a hat. The Flower Mountain website is also teasing an upcoming collaboration with Nicholas Daley, a menswear designer based out of London who also recently collaborated with Clarks.

Flower Mountain products can be found at various retailers, including Nordstrom, Shopbop, Free People and Printemps New York.
