Gianmarco Soresi is finally giving us a full dose of his comedy.

The actor, comedian, and viral sensation has announced his debut full-length comedy special, Thief of Joy via Deadline. Thief of Joy will premiere on Friday, Sept. 19 on Soresi’s YouTube channel, on which he has over 1.1 million subscribers.

Over the past year, Soresi has gone viral on TikTok with his commentary on pop culture, as well as his personal anecdotes on his tumultuous upbringing. He sold out his Drama King Tour, which saw him deliver laughs across the world. His unique brand of humor has earned him spots on Variety, Vulture, and Deadline’s coveted top comics lists.

Additionally, Soresi’s podcast The Downside — which he cohosts with Russell Daniels — has brought in guests like Jay Jurden, Ilana Glazer, Caleb Hearon, Jameela Jamil, Frankie Grande, and more.

Thief of Joy was filmed this past February over the course of four sold-out shows at the Elysian Theatre in Los Angeles, California. According to a press release Thief of Joy will blend “Gianmarco’s signature theatrical flair with deeply personal storytelling” as he recounts memories “from his life as a theater kid turned theater major” as well as “his relationship, career, and his parents’ divorce.”

Soresi has previously appeared on Netflix’s Verified Standups, Amazon’s Comics Watching Comics, and The Late Late Show with James Corden. He’s also showed off some of his acting chops on Netflix’s Bonding, Hustlers, — opposite Jennifer Lopez — and Billy Crystal’s Here Today.

In addition to writing Thief of Joy, Soresi also produced the show alongside his manager Tovah Silbermann, Jordan Levy, and Alex Goodman.

Ahead of the premiere of Thief of Joy, Soresi will kick off a new American leg of The Drama King Tour, which will begin on Sept. 4 in Phoenix, Arizona and wrap on December 20 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
