Husband of Kristin Cabot Attended the …

Kristin Cabot went viral earlier this summer after she was spotted on a kiss cam at a Coldplay concert with her then-boss, Andy Byron; however, it now turns out that her husband was also on a date with a woman at the same concert.
As reported by People, a source close to the situation said that Kristin’s husband, Andrew Cabot, whom she filed for divorce from after the Coldplay kiss cam video went viral, was also on a date at the same concert. Kristin and Andy’s reaction when they were caught on the kiss cam, attempting to hide from the camera, prompted Coldplay frontman Chris Martin to joke that they were having an affair.
A source close to Andrew, not to be confused with Kristin’s former boss Andy Byron, said there have been many misconceptions about the situation.
“Kristin and Andrew [Cabot] had been living apart and one of the many misconceptions in the media is that [he] was in Japan and blindsided, when in fact he was at the Coldplay concert on a date,” said the source.
“Kristin and Andy [Byron] had an excellent working relationship, a great friendship. There was no affair,” a source close to Kristin told People earlier this month. “It was inappropriate to be hugging your boss at a concert, and she accepts full responsibility for it. But the scandal, the downfall, the loss of the job—all of that is unfair.”
Months after the concert, Kristin Cabot requested legal separation from her husband, but he said that they were already separated by the time the concert took place. “Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening,” a spokesperson for Andrew said. “Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued.”
Andy Byron resigned as CEO of tech company Astronomer following the incident, as did Kristin Cabot, who was the chief people officer. Byron is also reportedly married, but it’s unclear if the incident impacted the status of his relationship.
