Indiana Math Teacher Goes Viral For Covering Drake’s ‘Nok…

A math teacher has gone viral on TikTok for creating her own version of Drake’s “Nokia,” which is all about coming back to school.

The teacher in question is Miss Kacz, whose real name is Natalie Kaczmarski. She’s a math teacher from Indiana who’s made her love for Drake’s music known in previous renditions of his songs.

In her latest clip, Miss Kacz turns on the instrumental to “Nokia” and goes in like one of Drake’s time and place freestyles. In her version, the teacher claps her hands and raps reminders students to not have cell phones out in class or use ChatGPT.

Mimicking Drake’s cadence, she asks the class if they’re ready for geometry, algebra, or math lab. It’s adorable and actually, technically impressive.

Since 2019, Miss Kacz has been deep in her Drake-inspired rap bag. Prior to her recent version of “Nokia,” she’s covered “Right Now” and “Rich Baby Daddy,” turning some of the rapper’s biggest hits into educational jingles that give Kidz Bop a run for its money.

In an interview with Good Morning America last year, Miss Kacz revealed why she raps Drake songs on the first day of school.

“I just kind of wanted them to think, like, OK, she’s this cool quirky lady,” she explained.

“I absolutely love my job and I think the best way to have an impact on students is to show them that you care, they feel comfortable in your room, and they can relate to you,” she continued. “So if I want to be an effective math teacher, I want them to at first feel comfortable in my room and think that they can relate to me.”
