Jessie Cave Says She Was Barred From Harry Potter Convent…

Actress and comedian Jessie Cave, best known for her role as Lavender Brown in three of the Harry Potter movies, says she wasn’t allowed to attend a convention because she makes content on OnlyFans.
In a paid subscriber-only post shared on her Substack, Cave said she learned she wasn’t booked for a Harry Potter convention because of her use of the platform, which isn’t only for adult content but is often associated with it. “I found out that I didn’t get booked for a Harry Potter convention recently, as I’m now doing OnlyFans,” she wrote. “They explained it was because it’s a ‘family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn.’ This was baffling to me as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and films in which they’ve done sex scenes and nudity. I’m just playing with my hair!”
While she expressed her frustration with the situation, Cave also acknowledged that there will be a new generation of Harry Potter actors when HBO’s TV series arrives.
“I am not upset about the prospect of no more Harry Potter conventions,” she wrote. “There’s going to be a new cast now and it’s a different time. Plus, I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia.”
Cave joined OnlyFans in March this year, and said that it was for “niche hair content” but nothing sexually explicit. She explained the decision on her podcast, Before We Break Up Again. She said that the move will help her pay off some of her debt, and that she will cater to people with an ASMR hair fetish, providing “the best quality hair sounds.”
Cave recently celebrated six months of being on OnlyFans in a post shared on Instagram. “Happy 6 months to me on only fanz the most empowering thing I’ve done in my life,” she captioned the post. “I’m grateful.”
