Jimmy Choo, Conner Ives Go Wild in New Collaboration
LONDON — Jimmy Choo and Conner Ives have launched their latest collaboration, dedicated to girls gone wild.
Ives went animal for it, reimagining two archival Choo styles — a knee boot and mule — in racy cheetah print and sexy zebra.
“My opinion is that animal print is a neutral and what is so nice about these prints especially is that as crazy and wild as they are, there is still something that feels approachable about them,” said the American-born designer.
The styles made their debut at Ives’ fall 2025 show, which was inspired by ‘70s glitz and glamour.

“Throughout the time we were creating the capsule, I had a lot of varying references of animal print from the ‘70s on my mood board,” explained Ives.
He had references pinned, like a 1997 image of Chloë Sevigny in tiger print tights. While the tiger print might’ve been swapped for cheetah, the collection certainly taps into Sevigny’s cool-girl energy — and Ivy Getty’s.
“The cheetah came from a custom shoe we developed for Ivy Getty for the Met Gala. Sandra [Choi, Jimmy Choo’s creative director] and I will always muse on it a bit, and this felt right to us both,” he said.

Ives also co-curated Jimmy Choo’s archival capsule, which reissued styles from 1997 to 2001.

Choi said that the collaboration was a natural evolution from their conversations around fashion and design, which began at Ives’ fall 2024 show. But it also seems the stars aligned, literally.
“Conner was born in the same year Jimmy Choo was founded, and he brings with him a unique perspective on fashion and an instinctive relevance that bridges heritage with the future,” she said. “His work is bold, intelligent, and deeply connected to his community — qualities that make collaborating with him not only inspiring but truly energizing.”
The duo also collaborated on the at Ives’ latest runway, a delicious neon storm of Jimmy Choo’s Gloria Mule 85, bits and bobs from Jimmy Choo’s archival capsule co-curated by Choi, Ives, and Alexander Fury, and, of course, animal prints galore.
