Justin Bieber’s been busy on the ’Gram lately. Between snaps of his and wife Hailey Bieber’s son Jack Blues, blurry throwbacks, and goofy group shots, the 31-year-old “Peaches” singer has been serving fans content like it’s 2015 again. But it’s his newest pic with longtime pal Kendall Jenner that managed to break the internet in half.
On Saturday, August 16, Justin posted a moody bar-lit shot beside the model, 29, who’s seen leaning in mid-story with both hands frozen in motion, while he stares blankly ahead in a ribbed tank and cargo pants. Captionless chaos.
It didn’t take long for the reactions to roll in—including one from his sweetheart. “It’s always Kendall telling a story with her hands,” Hailey, 28, joked in the comments, racking up instant replies like, “Hi MOMMY,” “Things never change, best friendship,” and “You always have to explain the things he posts huh.” Another user cut even deeper: “You’re out of your mind if you’re OK with this post girl.”
Outside of Hailey’s clap-back, fans had plenty to say.
“hailey’s like: my husband and my girlfriend,” one person joked.
“This man posted up with everybody but his wife,” another wrote.
“Kendall is always too close to somebody’s man,” chimed in a third.
“Everybody worried about Hailey, but she’s probably the one that snapped the pic,” someone else noted.

As for Justin and Jenner’s relationship? Despite years of tabloid chatter, the two have never officially dated. They started orbiting the same crew in the early 2010s, and when rumors flared in 2014–2015 (after a few dinners and trip sightings) Jenner swatted it down, calling Justin a “longtime friend.” Justin kept the same energy in a 2015 Billboard interview, saying it was never serious with Jenner.
Before any of that, though, Justin and Hailey actually met back in 2009, when her dad, Stephen Baldwin, introduced them backstage at the Today show.
Jenner and Hailey, meanwhile, first crossed paths at The Hunger Games premiere in 2012 and have been tight ever since. While chatting with Vogue on the Met Gala red carpet earlier this year, Jenner even said the pair are like “sisters.”
From there, all three of their social circles began to blur into one big pop-culture Venn diagram with vacation pics, runway cameos, and Instagram-comment creeping making their friendships internet canon.
Of course, it was Justin and Hailey who ended up being endgame — they got married in a courthouse ceremony in 2018 and threw a larger wedding in 2019 (Jenner attended in a slinky black-and-gold dress). In 2024, the happy couple welcomed baby Jack, who turns one on August 22.
